About the role

Line Technician IV will apply seasoned mechanical knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and deliver solutions contributing to production and technology operations. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Department Manager, you will apply and contribute to evaluation of techniques to ensure adherence to quality control, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation and Setup (50%) — Independently perform technology set up, endorse line clearance, adjust process parameters and perform timely changeovers for more than 4 technologies within one or more departments. Monitor and manage multiple technologies simultaneously and contribute to execution of downtime resolutions as required. Adhere to utilization of the Maintenance Connection program for streamlining preventive maintenance schedules and downtime reporting. Address and resolve technology out-of-spec conditions to ensure quality output and safe work practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs (30%) — Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques, following complex instructions, and resolve problems that contribute to production downtime and efficiency. Deliver training to Line Technicians (1-3) on safety, quality, standard work procedures and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Housekeeping, Safety, and Continuous Improvement (15%) — Champion housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following cGMP, 5S, and safety guidelines. Assist in implementing safety initiatives and participating in continuous improvement projects.
  • Additional Duties (5%) — Rotate across all 3 production shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Industrial Maintenance Certificate and/or Mechatronics Technology Certificate, or 3+ years equivalent experience.
  • Basic proficiency in basic math skills with the ability to read micrometers and rulers.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading/comprehending, and writing in English.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high-volume machine-paced environment with demonstrated application in troubleshooting, repairs, production technology setup, and team collaboration.
