Metrology Field Service Supervisor

About the role

As we continue to grow, our facility in Florence is seeking a Metrology Field Service Supervisor to serve as the on-site technical lead, ensuring precision measurements, alignments, and installations meet engineering tolerances while supervising field personnel for safe and efficient execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead precision measurement and alignment activities using advanced metrology tools to ensure installations meet engineering tolerances and specifications
• Serve as the on-site technical authority, providing hands-on guidance to field crews on alignment, measurement, and installation requirements
• Supervise and coordinate field service personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards
• Manage job-site coordination, including drawing review, safety meetings, work sequencing, and communication with plant and project stakeholders
• Document measurement data, alignment results, and job progress through accurate field reports and final installation records

Requirements

• Strong background in precision measurement, industrial metrology, and equipment alignment within heavy industrial environments
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and specifications
• Experience leading or supervising field service crews
• Willingness to travel
• Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa

Pay

$90,000 - $120,000
