Methods Process Analyst 2 - 2nd shift
Role Overview
We are seeking a Methods Process Analyst to serve as an integrator for the Industrial Engineering function, supporting second-shift operations teams. This role involves utilizing manufacturing knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross-functional teams, including production operations, engineering, quality, and program management. The successful candidate will focus on stabilizing the production environment, implementing lean methodologies, and improving quality through root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of current and future business environments to develop forecasts and utilization plans.
- Develop and maintain the Business System factory definition for manufacturing planning.
- Contribute to the development of labor hour estimates and monitor performance against them.
- Aid in developing integrated tool and production master schedules to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency.
- Analyze changes from unplanned events and develop modifications to existing plans.
- Gather and analyze shop performance metrics to support recommendations for management.
- Identify and implement process improvements using established methodologies.
- Serve as a liaison between first and second-shift operations teams, managing Industrial Engineering actions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in a business-related curriculum such as Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics is required.
- Experience: Candidates must have one or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: One or more years of experience working in a team environment, one or more years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, one or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership, experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, experience in data analysis and developing metrics to drive business improvements, experience in Project Management, proficiency in structured problem-solving.
Work Schedule
This position is for the second shift, with hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to crouch, walk, and climb stairs while performing duties throughout the day.
