What are Your Contributions to the Team?
- Adheres to General Work Requirements
- Assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts, and risks of a change in production
- Aids in drafting the necessary working and repair documents
- Learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
- Assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis
- Assists with analyzing requirements and initiating productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
- Aids Methods Planners in tool designs
- Directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)
How to Thrive in This Role?
- You typically have 0-2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area
- You have basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5
- You have basic knowledge of Project Management principles
- You have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
- You have manufacturing background (preferred)
- You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
