Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with product and process control procedures
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues
- Support development and optimization of products, equipment, and processes
- Collaborate with operations teams, shift leaders, and production personnel
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Support operational needs during off-shift or weekend schedules when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering
- 1+ year of related engineering or internship experience
- Understanding of metallurgy, thermodynamics, material processing, and engineering calculations
- Able to work within manufacturing operations environments
- U.S. work authorization meeting ITAR requirements
Preferred Skills
- Aluminum or metals industry experience
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Experience with AS9100 or IATF16949 quality systems
- Statistical analysis and manufacturing process improvement experience
