Metallurgical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct metallurgical investigations and failure analyses.
• Evaluate material properties, microstructures, and test results.
• Support heat treatment, forming, casting, rolling, forging, or other manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues using root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve yield, reduce scrap, and enhance product performance.
• Develop and maintain material specifications, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams on process improvement initiatives.
• Support new product development, qualifications, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, metals, or industrial operations.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, material properties, heat treatment, and failure analysis.
• Experience supporting production environments and continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
