Metallurgical Engineer

Job Description/Typical Task Breakdown

Receive client request and document as-received
Enter work order and work with technicians to complete work
Create report with appropriate conclusions
Validate with senior staff

Duties & Responsibilities

Providing metallurgical support to multiple clients by performing failure and metallurgical analysis, interacting with metallurgical technicians, updating standard work, and participating on continuous improvement projects.

Education & Experience

• Years of experience: 0-2 years
• Degree requirement: BS in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering from accredited university – ONLY THESE SPECIFIC DEGREES NO 2 year degrees
• Open to Master’s - only the listed degrees
• Required Technical Skills: Failure analysis, Ferrous metallurgy, Microscopy

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay

The Pay Range For This Role Is 60,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Mossville, IL)
