Meta Lab Assistant Manager

About the role

Meta Lab Retail is transforming how people connect with technology in high-traffic, premium shopping environments in The Galleria. Our team will bring Meta Smart Glasses and Quest mixed-reality experiences to life through interactive demos and engaging, hands-on customer moments. As the Assistant Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Store Manager to support and develop a high-performing retail team while keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the location including but not limited to, opening, and closing, inventory management, logistics, retail technology, Point of Sale, cash handling & weekly and daily report outs on operational performance
• Develop and execute various operational strategies to streamline operational processes within the retail store
• Support the Retail Manager in performance management of the team
• Lead person when the Store Director is not present
• Expert in our client’s industry leading products, sold in the retail store
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of retail management experience required
• 3+ years customer-facing experience in retail required

• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills including soft, written, verbal and conflict resolution
• Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels and independently
• Show patience, tact and remain calm under pressure
• High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Practice good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking and decision making
• Fluent in Google Workspace Suite & Office 365 including Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
• Flexible availability with the ability to be on-call as needed

Skills and Attributes

• Engaging with customers while talking, standing, walking, and conducting demos of our client’s product which includes repetitive use of hands, arms, legs and grasping
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation

Pay

Minimum Pay USD $65,000.00/Yr. Maximum Pay USD $70,000.00/Yr.
