Meta Floater Sales Specialist

Part-time role in partnership with Meta, located at retailers within a 60-mile radius of Chicago, IL.

About the Role

As a Meta Sales Specialist Floater, you’ll connect with retail shoppers to recommend Meta products that meet their needs. You’ll be the go-to expert for customers seeking information on Meta’s AR/VR headsets, accessories, and more, ensuring an interactive and informative shopping experience. Full technology training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dive into Meta’s products—AR/VR headsets, accessories, and more—and demonstrate their benefits in fitness, gaming, and entertainment.
• Engage customers, understand their needs, and confidently recommend the perfect Meta product to drive sales.
• Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally, fostering positive relationships with customers and store staff.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing Meta displays, showcasing the latest devices and promotions.
• Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders, sharing knowledge and contributing to a productive work environment.
• Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically using your mobile device.
• Submit daily reports and adapt to local retail store environments while adhering to operational policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in AR/VR products is a plus.
• Ability to engage customers, demonstrate products, and close sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to exceeding customer expectations and thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends (Friday 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) and a minimum of three weekday shifts.
• Own a smartphone with an operating system equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs (accommodations available for disabilities).
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.

Pay

$22 per hour, with 6 hours guaranteed per week. Weekly hours may vary.

Schedule

• Required availability: Friday 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Minimum of three weekday shifts required.
• Additional shifts may be added in November and December for holidays and Black Friday.
• Floaters receive priority consideration for open positions based on attendance, KPIs, and performance.
