About the role
Lead the strategic vision, development, and management of Enterprise Payment products and services, including core and emerging Treasury, Card, Merchant, Fraud, and Advanced Data Analytics. Responsibilities span market analysis, product strategy development, risk assessment, performance monitoring, vendor management, and pricing/marketing strategy formulation for new and existing product lines. This senior leadership role involves engaging with executives, industry leaders, and clients to promote the company’s value proposition and drive progressive change.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product management leaders, product managers, and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Collaborate with executive management, technology, operations, risk, sales, service, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Establish and monitor product performance metrics and KPIs, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all products adhere to regulatory requirements and manage associated risks effectively.
- Build and sustain relationships with third-party vendors, including regular communication on strategies, financial stability, and annual evaluations.
- Represent the Enterprise Payments Product organization internally and externally, including industry forums, client meetings, and internal discussions.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication in all interactions, including individual and large-group settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in product management, P&L management, and strategy for commercializing new products/services in a large bank, regional bank, or related technology-driven organization.
- 7+ years of supervisory or managerial experience, with a proven track record in attracting, developing, and retaining high-caliber talent.
- Deep understanding of payment processing systems, technologies, and market trends.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to senior-level audiences.
- Expertise in managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams and advanced project management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory environment.
- Extensive experience in negotiations, project management, and vendor management.
