Merchant Brand Ambassador

About the role

Join 2020 Companies as a Merchant Brand Ambassador and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory!

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met

Requirements

• This position requires a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
• This is a field-based role where you will visit local retailers and ensure they understand how to maximize the value of the program.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory

• Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer-facing experience is a plus

$23 per hour plus 10% Monthly Bonus
