Merchandising Operations Specialist
Job Summary
The Merchandising Operations Specialist supports execution of merchandising priorities by leading project coordination, maintaining and improving processes, maintaining data integrity, and driving cross-functional alignment. This role is responsible for ensuring timelines are met, processes are optimized, and merchandising initiatives are executed efficiently at scale.
Job Expectations
Own project tracking for key merchandising initiatives, including building and maintaining timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring accountability across stakeholders
Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support scalable merchandising workflows
Cross-functional efforts with partners, including Marketing and IM&P, to ensure alignment and timely execution of merchandising programs
Maintain and report on merchandising data to provide visibility into project status, priorities, and performance
Oversee accuracy and ongoing maintenance of Master Vendor Data
Data extraction from systems to support needs of team and cross functional partners
Track and manage supplier and brand information in alignment with merchandising priorities and initiatives
Lead execution of special projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business needs
Coordinate merchandising team operations, including organizing meetings, managing communications, and supporting team events
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
High attention to detail, particularly with data accuracy and process execution
Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
Preferred Experience
Working with product, vendor, or merchandising data
Equipment Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Familiarity with AI tools and platforms to support productivity, reporting, or process optimization
Experience Requirements
Generally requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in merchandising, operations, e-commerce, or a related field
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $77,000 - $83,000 USD. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as the candidate's relevant experience, education, geographic location, and internal equity.
