Job Responsibilities

  • Support communication with cross functional teams to address all Watch activities such as product assortment, discontinuations, pricing requests, new product plans
  • Act as the sole project manager for all high end watch requests, inclusive of answering emails, requesting stock from Switzerland, organizing transfers, reporting sales and tracking the program
  • Act as a project lead as it pertains to reports and team presentations for meetings and conferences
  • Maintain stock levels and bring to light any actions necessary to rectify missed opportunities and communicate to supply chain and Omni-channel on any product logistics (I.E. notify me promptly)
  • Liaison with B.Com team to ensure product grids encompass overall product strategy for region, as well as report on any foreseen depth issues which could hinder overall product availability

Communication and Reporting

  • Analyze, allocate and rebalance merchandise according to historic sales, market needs, marketing initiatives on a regular basis
  • Provide monthly executive report to leadership team
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by the VP of Merchandising reliant on reactivity to the business trends
  • Update and share any modifications made to product assortment with commercial teams as it impacts their business
  • Monitor sales performance by various KPIs, not limited to store clusters, rankings, aesthetic lines, product typologies and materials, as well as monitor performance vs. forecast
  • Analyze and monitor competition and report to management on findings about competitors pricing, activities and initiatives
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly with distribution planning, press and other reporting for cross functional teams as needed
  • Communicate with commercial teams, answering emails as it pertains to product knowledge
  • Maintain stock availability by managing incoming allocation, special orders, reallocations and miscellaneous requests
  • In collaboration with merchandising analyst, manage the overall forecast process for novelties and existing products

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in similar roles
  • Passion for the watch category
  • Strong analytical and retail math skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills & IT Applications (SAP, BW, and Power BI) (e.g. arrays, statistical functions, pivot tables, etc…)
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong sense of accountability, self-drive, and the ability to function independently
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy being innovative and resourceful
  • Able to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Effective at time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with acute attention to detail
  • Highly organized and possess proven critical thinking skills
