Merchandising Lead

About the Role

This position involves providing exceptional member service, overseeing associate supervision, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge members, identify their needs, and provide guidance and support regarding self-service technology.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Promote the company's products and services.
• Assign duties to associates, communicate goals and feedback, and train them on processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support the Open Door Policy.
• Receive, stock, and organize supplies and merchandise, and maintain the sales floor.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow procedures for forklift handling, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, handle claims and returns, and ensure product quality.
• Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs.
• Lead and participate in teams, providing advice, feedback, and support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months of retail experience and 6 months of customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a team, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workloads.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
