About the Role
The Merchandising Coordinator provides coordination and functional support to Pricing and Integrity management, including administrative assistance in support of category management. Responsibilities include item retail support, new item data management, pre-orders, promotions, report preparation, information coordination, visitor reception, meeting scheduling, correspondence, and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer service to vendors and stores on vendor and product support issues
- Coordinates new vendor and item implementation process
- Coordinates preorder information with accurate cost and retail
- Processes promotional information for Marketing and Store Systems teams
- Coordinates Procurement/Sourcing and Banner Departments paperwork flow
- Assists with ad proofing and editing
- Inputs and transfers ad projection information
- May maintain internal product code database
- Assists with maintenance and updates of sign database
- May maintain or update pricing and/or scale maintenance
- Receives, processes, and prepares invoices, reports, memos, correspondence, emails, presentations, and other documents
- Coordinates and maintains calendars for departmental leadership; schedules and coordinates meetings, buying shows, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Advanced coordination and administrative skills, including analytical abilities and intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
- Education: Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
- Experience: One year of related experience
Work Environment
Basic office environment requiring the ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull, and lift objects.
Pay
$19.89 - $22.00 per hour
