Merchandising Assistant

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Aid in revising and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, and timely processing.
• Follow up on backorders, claims, and contracts to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any merchandising-related issues and provide necessary support.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to update product information, pricing, and promotions on various platforms.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the merchandising department's day-to-day operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
• Familiarity with Seafood products, cultural preferences, and market trends is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong attention to detail skills with a keen eye for visual presentation and product placement.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and work well under pressure.

Pay

The pay range for this job is between $19 and $22 per hour. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
