All You Will Do
- Anticipate customer flow and work demand and redirect efforts and schedules as needed.
- Plan for sales spikes and ensure in-stock positions to meet demand.
- Conduct safety walks, monitor power equipment usage, and coach associates on safe work practices.
What We're Looking For
- Salaried position generally scheduled for 48 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.
- Morning, afternoon, and evening availability required.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and perform tasks involving lifting up to 25 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment.
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
- 1 year of experience managing daily store operations and processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5 years of experience leading service associates in a retail or consumer service industry.
- 3 years of experience managing daily store operations and processes.
- Experience in the home improvement retail sector.
- Broad knowledge of interior/exterior product categories.
- Experience with store computer systems (Project Tool, Genesis, M2O, Thin Client, etc.).
