Merchandiser Travel Retail Service

ACO-US is seeking a full-time Merchandiser Travel Retail Service in Shawnee, Kansas (66203).

About the role

You will represent Acosta, our clients, and our customers by working in teams to perform reset and remodel work. This includes reading and implementing plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activities. The role requires travel with overnight stays 75–100% of the time and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow plan-o-grams to complete reset and remodel work
• Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelves, displaying merchandise, placing shelf strips and tags, checking date codes and plan-o-gram integrity, and processing pack-outs, restocks, and reorders
• Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve merchandising excellence and build effective working relationships
• Prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned work
• Demonstrate full awareness of surroundings, utilize proper safety techniques, and proactively alert management to unsafe conditions
• Work in cold environmental conditions (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections) for limited periods
• Use web-based applications to manage work availability, assignments, documentation, time, attendance, and training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience reading and using planograms; retail and reset experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable using technology (smartphones, computers, handheld devices)
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, attention to detail, customer service, and effective communication
• Ability to work accurately with web-based applications
• Must be at least 21 years old due to travel requirements
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skills

Pay

$18.50 per hour.
