Merchandiser - Team Sports (Full-time)

Responsibilities
- Unload product from freight
- Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the sales floor or back stock
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring product to the floor for display
- Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased product
- Maintain orderly appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas, including general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock
- Perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s)
- Read and comprehend instructions, and write short correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Stay organized, multi-task, and manage all aspects of the Merchandising role
- Work independently and collaboratively with the team
- Exercise judgment, tact, and professionalism when working with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate strong oral/written communication and presentation skills
- Show attention to detail
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect while following SCHEELS policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandiser Leads
- Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Pay
Earn $20.00 per hour plus a great associate discount on all in-store purchases.
Schedule
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available a minimum of every other weekend or 2 weekends a month. Average hours per week is 40.
