Compensation pay range: $17.13 - $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, with multiple premiums applying if criteria are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise; keep the display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
- Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, or other directives.
- Update all out-front price changes and ensure "sale" signs are in place, sales flyer racks are stocked, and sufficient quantities of sale merchandise are on display.
- Remove all sale material when the sale ends and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with the manager to complete the store To-Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front-floor security.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Work with ISS to pull and stage installer deliveries for delivery specialists.
- Serve as a communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and the store manager.
- Assist with determining the most efficient and safest routes for delivery specialists.
- Coordinate and ensure completion of quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists.
- Perform housekeeping duties for back room and installer counter areas.
- May serve as a HUB Store Order Puller, pulling parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets for delivery to stores serviced by the Hub store.
- Receive orders from area stores, pull parts as listed on Stock Transfer tickets, sort parts by store location, and place them in tubs for delivery.
- Inspect boxes for damage to ensure parts are in good condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate safely for the benefit of self and others.
- Monitor for unsafe practices and situations.
Requirements
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences and strong organizational skills.
- Previous stocking experience is desired.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
