Merchandiser - PT

Part-time, non-exempt on-site position servicing product in multiple stores within the 23185 zip code and surrounding areas. Travel expected up to 100% of the time; travel time between accounts is paid.

About the role

Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards. Responsibilities include replenishing product, assembling shelves/racks and display cases, and servicing all assigned stores as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently replenish product and follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and other merchandising guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours; seek prior approval before working outside of scheduled hours or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications (e.g., Movista).
• Communicate regularly with Supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
• Handle all product correctly, including returns, and discuss additional duties requested by store personnel with Supervisor before performing them.

Requirements

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented; conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel and a personal cell phone/mobile device (e.g., tablet).
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.
• Employment contingent on background check, 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently: Bend, squat, stand, walk, kneel, push/pull, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movements, read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason/analyze, lift/move light (up to 25 lbs.) and moderate (25-50 lbs.) loads.
• Occasionally: Sit, reach above shoulder level, lift/move heavy loads (over 50 lbs.).
• Not required: Crawl, climb, exposure to excessive noise, moving machinery, temperature/humidity changes, dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwaves, drive motorized equipment, or work in confined quarters.

Schedule

Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule.

Pay

Competitive wage of $15/hour. Retention and/or referral bonuses available after 3 months (eligibility details apply).
