Merchandiser - PT

On-site position servicing product in multiple stores with travel between them. Territory includes Jasper, TN (37347) and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Supervisor of Merchandising. This role involves 100% merchandising work within retail environments, servicing assigned stores on designated weekdays according to an established schedule. Travel is expected up to 100% of the time to cover the territory.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards within a retail environment.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product, assemble shelves/racks, and set up display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by the Supervisor.
• Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours or more than 10 hours in a workday (overtime).
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications (e.g., Movista).
• Discuss additional duties requested by store personnel with Supervisor before performing them.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and other merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain regular communication with Supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
• Handle all product correctly, including returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and adhere to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel (up to 100% of the time).
• Personal cell phone and mobile device (e.g., tablet) required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, internet, and email applications.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Employment contingent on passing a background check, 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.

Physical Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Frequently: Bend, squat, stand, walk, push/pull, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movements, read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.
• Occasionally: Sit, reach above shoulder level, lift/moderate loads (25-50 lbs.).
• Not at all: Crawl, climb, exposure to excessive noise, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature/humidity, dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwaves, drive motorized equipment, work in confined quarters, lift heavy loads (over 50 lbs.).

Pay

Competitive wage of $15/hour, including paid travel time between accounts. Retention and/or referral bonuses available after 3 months (eligibility details in program guidelines).

Schedule

Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule. Overtime requires prior approval from Supervisor.
