Merchandiser - PT
On-site position servicing product in multiple stores with travel between them. Part-time, non-exempt role based in Vero Beach, FL (32960 and surrounding areas).
Pay
Competitive wage of $15/hour, including paid travel time between accounts. Retention and/or referral bonus available after 3 months (see program details for eligibility).
Schedule
Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule. Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory.
Responsibilities
- Perform 100% merchandising work within a retail environment, applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
- Safely and efficiently replenish product; may assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
- Service all stores as scheduled within allotted hours; seek prior approval for work outside scheduled hours.
- Contact supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
- Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
- Discuss additional duties requested by store personnel with supervisor before performing them.
- Work stores as scheduled and handle all product correctly, including returns.
- Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and other merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask and detail-oriented; conduct self in a professional manner.
- Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
- Reliable transportation for travel and personal cell phone/mobile device (e.g., tablet).
- Proficient with Word, internet, and email applications.
- Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
- Employment contingent on background check, 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.
Physical Requirements
Physical: On the job, the employee must frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, kneel, push/pull, and handle objects (manual dexterity). Occasionally sit and reach above shoulder level. No crawling, climbing, or exposure to excessive noise, moving machinery, or confined quarters.
Mental: Must frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, and reason/analyze.
Environmental: No exposure to dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwaves, or motorized equipment. No marked changes in temperature/humidity.
Lifting: Frequently carry/lift light (up to 25 lbs.) and moderate (25–50 lbs.) loads; occasionally lift heavy loads (over 50 lbs.).
