Merchandiser - PT

Location: Nashville, TN (37209 and surrounding areas) – on-site position servicing product in multiple stores with travel between them. Reports to Supervisor of Merchandising.

Pay

Competitive wage of $15/hour, including paid travel time between accounts. Retention and/or referral bonuses available after 3 months (eligibility details apply).

Schedule

Part-time, non-exempt. Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule. Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% merchandising work within a retail environment, applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product, assemble shelves/racks, and set up display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all assigned stores as scheduled within allotted hours; seek prior approval for any deviations.
• Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and company-related information using designated applications (e.g., Movista).
• Consult Supervisor before performing duties requested by store personnel that are not listed in the job description.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and other merchandising directives.
• Maintain regular communication with Supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
• Handle product correctly, including returns, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
• Professional conduct and adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel and a personal cell phone/mobile device (e.g., tablet).
• Proficient with Word, internet, and email applications.
• Employment contingent on passing a background check, 4-panel drug test (THC not included), and MVR clearance.

Physical Requirements

Physical: Frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, push/pull, handle objects, and use fine finger movements. Occasionally sit and reach above shoulder level. Not required to crawl, climb, or lift over 50 lbs (frequently lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally 25-50 lbs).

Mental: Frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, and reason/analyze.

Environmental: No exposure to excessive noise, moving machinery, temperature/humidity changes, dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwaves, or confined spaces. Does not operate motorized equipment.
