Merchandiser - PT

Merchandiser on‑site position servicing product in multiple stores, traveling between them. Part‑time, non‑exempt. Located in Deerfield Beach, FL (servicing zip code 33442 and surrounding areas). Reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising.

About the role

The role involves traveling to assigned stores to merchandise products according to store and corporate standards, replenishing inventory, assembling displays, and maintaining accurate records.

Pay

Competitive wage of $15 per hour, including paid travel time between accounts. Eligible for a retention and/or referral bonus after three months (see program details for eligibility).

Schedule

Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to an established schedule. Travel is expected up to 100% of the time to cover the territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% merchandising work within a retail environment, applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish product.
• Assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
• Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by the Supervisor of Merchandising.
• Seek prior approval from the supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
• Contact supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company‑related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with the supervisor before performing those duties.
• Handle all product correctly, including returns.
• Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, etc.
• Maintain regular communication with the supervisor.
• Develop relationships with store personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and detail‑oriented.
• Conduct self in a professional manner.
• Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
• Reliable transportation for travel.
• Able to use Movista and/or other company‑required applications.
• Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.
• Employment contingent on background check, 4‑panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.
• Physical requirements – Frequently: Bend, Squat, Stand, Walk, Kneel, Push/Pull, Handle Objects (manual dexterity), Use fine finger movements; Occasionally: Sit, Reach above shoulder level; Not at all: Crawl, Climb.
• Mental requirements – Frequently: Read/Comprehend, Write, Perform calculations, Communicate Orally, Reason and Analyze.
• Environmental requirements – Not exposed to excessive noise, moving machinery, marked temperature/humidity changes, dust, fumes, gases, radiation, microwave; Does not drive motorized equipment; Does not work in confined quarters.
• Load carrying – Frequently: Light (up to 25 lbs.), Moderate (25‑50 lbs.); Occasionally: Heavy (over 50 lbs.).
