About the role

As a Part-Time Merchandiser at Viking Coca Cola, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products are showcased at their best. This position involves stocking existing shelf space, refreshing coolers with immediate consumption beverages, and building and maintaining package-specific displays that align with company standards. You'll maintain merchandising excellence by rotating products to guarantee freshness and ensuring a clean and organized back-room. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will shine as you interact with store managers and customers, addressing their needs with professionalism. You'll also communicate effectively with sales reps and drivers, handle product clean-up, complete necessary paperwork, and occasionally collect money due on accounts.

Responsibilities

• Stock existing shelf space and refresh coolers with immediate consumption beverages
• Build and maintain package-specific displays according to company standards
• Maintain merchandising excellence by rotating products for freshness
• Ensure clean and organized back-room
• Provide exceptional customer service to store managers and customers
• Communicate effectively with sales reps and drivers
• Handle product clean-up and complete necessary paperwork
• Occasionally collect money due on accounts
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and clean Motor Vehicle Check
• Proficiency in operating a manual pallet jack and 2- and 4-wheel carts
• Ability to safely push and pull loads of up to 2,200 lbs
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Basic paperwork and cash-handling skills
• Use of personal vehicle for work
