Merchandiser Part Time

About the role

The Merchandiser at Coca-Cola United is responsible for building displays, replenishing inventory, maintaining product integrity, and providing feedback to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper care of equipment and company/customer assets daily
• Rotate and replenish products in customer outlets, including displays, racks, and Coca-Cola and brand partner equipment
• Maintain product integrity in every account; neatly stack, condense, and rotate backstock, clean coolers and racks to company standards
• Organize and collect any breakage or out-of-date product, including empty shells and pallets
• Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities
• Work in partnership with the Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver to execute the picture of success
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with all customers, providing superior customer service
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with Coca-Cola United fleet policy
• Reliable vehicle required
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with Coca-Cola United safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Coca-Cola United guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets
• Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to work a flexible or rotating schedule
• Able to respond and resolve to any customer issues
• Able to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Previous Merchandising experience preferred
