Merchandiser Part-Time
About the role
We are seeking a part-time Merchandiser for the Lansing area. Our Merchandisers travel to assigned accounts to stock, rotate, and face our products, which include beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and staying active throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Stock, rotate, and face merchandise at assigned accounts.
- Consolidate and organize products in backstock areas.
- Work with Sales Representatives to build displays.
- Communicate necessary information within the sales team to ensure proper product levels and prevent stock outs.
- Repeatedly bend to lift product, including cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license.
- A smartphone.
- Adequate auto insurance (specific coverage requirements will be provided during the interview process).
- Reliable transportation for traveling between stores.
- A stable work history, as training takes approximately two weeks.
- Self-directed work ethic, as you will often work independently.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Pay
Merchandisers start at $17.00 per hour, with mileage reimbursement for the use of their own vehicle.
