Merchandiser - Coca-Cola Bottling of Hawaii

Responsibilities

• Visit customer locations daily to merchandise and maintain products through stocking, rotating, dusting, and building displays.
• Stock and rotate products on floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves according to style, size, and type.
• Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications.
• Accurately document number of products received, distributed, or set aside due to damage or out‑of‑date.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training related to Odom procedures for merchandiser duties.
• Help ensure a safe and clean work area by discarding trash and empty boxes before leaving each account.
• Display promotional materials (POS, signage) per company and store policies.
• Build displays according to supervisor/sales representative directions.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have proof of insurance.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have own reliable transportation to and from accounts.
• Physically capable of lifting cases and display units exceeding 70 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior retail stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand cart safely.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, lift from floor to waist and shoulder to overhead, use hands/fingers, handle objects, reach, talk and hear.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Constant lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of 27‑55 pounds; occasional lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of up to 170 pounds.
• Work environment noise level usually moderate, occasionally high due to outside environmental noises.

Pay
