Merchandiser-Central Phoenix Area

Duties

• Delivering orders
• Rotating back stock
• Stocking shelves
• Displaying PO’s and building displays

Essential Functions

• Management of Retail Specialists
• Develop support by maintaining routine contact with key decision makers
• Accurately deliver and check orders in to accounts
• Places product on shelves or in displays for maximum exposure
• Ensures product is merchandised correctly per standardized merchandising procedures, rotates stock appropriately, and correct pricing and point of sales material is correctly displayed
• Communicate effectively to resolve any ordering or shipping needs within their designated territory
• Maintains accurate daily and weekly logs of accounts visited to provide to management
• Provides pictures of display, cold box, or shelf reset executions upon request of Management or other internal departments
• Communicates with management any specific customer requests
• Moves around and carries up to 40 pounds of cases of wine
• Works flexible hours which include early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
• Organizes and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines
• Works independently and collaboratively
• Attends to goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner
• Communicates effectively with management and other departments
• Completes and passes a criminal background check and MVR

Required Skills

• High School diploma
• Lifts and carries up to 40 pounds of cases of wine
• Flexible working hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team structure
• Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive
• Proven track record of strong sales in previous/current work experience
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal talents
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
