Pay range: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance premiums, and schedule, facility, season, or specific-work premiums may apply in amounts ranging per hour when applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
- Check out customers purchasing front floor merchandise in a quick and friendly manner; handle returns efficiently.
- Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security.
- Stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean on a daily basis.
- Check in, price, and put up stock; ensure merchandise on display is full and fronted.
- Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, and price changes.
- Ensure all "sale" signs are in place, sales flyer racks are stocked, and sufficient quantities of sale merchandise are on display; remove sale materials when the sale ends.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and completing the store To-Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- When the express lane is not in use and the counter is busy, assist customers by finishing tickets, taking payments (cash, checks, credit cards), etc.
Requirements
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
