Merchandiser

About the role

Stock Hispanic Brands products at customers' locations in assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through merchandising strategies, including product rotation
• Ensure pricing matches current promotions and promotional materials are displayed
• Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions
• Optimize brand presence in designated areas
• Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs to recommend products
• Maintain excellent working relationships with customers
• Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Personal vehicle that meets company standards for licensing and insurance
• Food handler's permit
• Valid driver's license that meets company requirements
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets Sigma driving standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English

• Customer service skills, including managing and responding to different customer situations while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Fully fluent in Spanish
• Ability to motivate self and others
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and present a professional demeanor
• Ability to work well independently

Environmental/Working Conditions

• Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34°F for prolonged periods
• Availability to work some weekends and evenings
• Can regularly lift and move 30-pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck
• Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push, or pull to move 30 pounds
