Merchandiser

About the Role

Stock Hispanic Brands products at customers' locations in assigned areas. This is a full-time position with a schedule starting at 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through merchandising strategies, including product rotation.
• Ensure pricing matches current promotions and display marketing/promotional materials.
• Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions.
• Optimize brand presence in designated areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and assess customer needs to recommend products.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
• Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Personal vehicle meeting company standards for licensing and insurance.
• Food handler's permit.
• Valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting Sigma driving standards, subject to review by Talent & Culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Customer service skills, including managing and responding to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Fully fluent in Spanish.
• Proven ability to motivate self and others.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently.

Working Conditions

• Able to work in a cold environment (~34°F) for prolonged periods.
• Availability to work some weekends and evenings.
• Regularly lift and move 30-pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck.
• Repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push, or pull to move 30 pounds.
