Ring’s End, Inc. of Lewisboro, NY is seeking a full-time Merchandiser to support our retail team in maintaining organized and efficient store operations.

About the role
As our Merchandiser, you will ensure smooth retail operations by managing the movement of store merchandise from order receipt to customer delivery. You will provide direct and indirect customer service, maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom, and verify the accuracy, completeness, and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments. Your responsibilities will also include keeping accurate records, preparing the store for opening and closing, maintaining product condition, guiding other workers, and assisting in various tasks to support overall company success.
Responsibilities
- Move store merchandise from point-of-order to point-of-customer receipt
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom
- Provide direct and indirect service to customers
- Check in shipments and store orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality condition
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments
- Keep accurate records and files
- Prepare the store for opening and closing
- Maintain items in good condition
- Guide and assist other workers
- Support various tasks to contribute to the overall success of the company
Requirements
- Flexible and adaptable to changes that may affect the position
- Able to quickly count and perform simple addition
- Meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift 100 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable using current technology and willing to learn new programs
