Merchandiser

About the role

Ring's End, Inc. of Wilton, CT is hiring a full-time Merchandiser to support the retail team in maintaining an organized and updated store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth retail operations through the movement of store merchandise from point-of-order to point-of-customer receipt.
• Provide direct and indirect service to customers and maintain appropriate inventory levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Check in shipments and store orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality condition.
• Keep accurate records and files, prepare the store for opening and closing, keep items in good condition, guide other workers, and help wherever needed.

Requirements

• Flexible and adaptable to changes affecting the position.
• Quickly count and use simple addition.
• Meet physical requirements, including lifting 100 lbs and standing all day.
• Use current technology and learn new programs.
