About the role

As a Merchandiser, you’ll drive to customer locations using your personal vehicle to meet with the customer, perform store resets, retagging, plan-o-grams, and ensure every square foot of the store is properly set according to plan. You must be able to assess critical needs and notify management and sales reps immediately of any issues.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily by Merchandising Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform merchandising, stocking, tagging, retagging, shelf facing, stock rotating, and shelf cleaning at customer locations.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to Sales and/or Merchandising Manager when required.
• Maintain safe store aisles.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Report hours to division on provided iPad.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
• Must be able to frequently lift products weighing from 5-25 lbs throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift a case of product or tote weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Travel assigned routes to customer locations (Columbus to Northwest Ohio) and work out of your home.

• Self-motivated, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Pay

$18.00 per hour (car allowance, mileage, and gasoline reimbursement provided).

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, with occasional Fridays.
