$20/hr for 40 hours per week.

About the role

As a Merchandiser, you will support strategic sales initiatives in your assigned region by collaborating with the local Sales Team. Your work will focus on executing the SmartStock program, ensuring policy compliance, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will build strong customer relationships and help the Sales Team address client needs, driving business success for customers, vendors, and the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Execute and maintain the SmartStock program, including racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Address customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Enforce plan-o-gram compliance, marketing best practices, and store standards.
• Identify and maximize display opportunities and positioning.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Resolve customer challenges with assistance.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper insurance.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service, merchandising, or sales.
