Job Summary

Founded in 1930, Iberia Foods is the largest Caribbean and Hispanic food distributor in the United States. We offer a wide range of products including condiments, pantry items, beverages, and snacks from leading Caribbean and Latin American brands. Seeking a Merchandiser to join our team in Tampa. The role involves providing and delivering product services at major retailers, stocking shelves, arranging displays, and maintaining store shelves.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company objectives.
• Analyze sales and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan inventory stock.
• Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves to create visibility and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock movement, consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, and clear outs.
• Stock shelves, arrange and maintain product displays, and remove dated or damaged products.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external management.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in retail or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or related field preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
