Merchandiser

About the role

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bakery operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bakery equipment to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
• Monitor production levels and adjust as necessary to meet demand.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet our standards.
• Handle inventory management tasks including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in a food production environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and operating procedures.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
