MERCHANDISER

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid forklift license (or willingness to get one)
• Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Skills and abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology, thorough understanding of merchandising policies and procedures, good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory, self-motivated and able to function as part of a team, ability to utilize Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software
• Physical/Environmental Demands: The ability to move product with a pallet jack, or by cart, various repetitive movements, good manual dexterity to perform required duties, exposure to airborne particles or fumes, must be able to lift 50 pounds at times, must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas
