Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

• Mercandise soybeans and finished soybean products
• Negotiate transactions with suppliers and end-users
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with key customers
• Participate in supply chain coordination and risk management activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize operations
• Research, analyze, and interpret market and industry data
• Represent the company at plant locations, customer sites, and industry events
• Travel periodically to production facilities and customer locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills
• Comfortable negotiating and operating in a competitive environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Interest or background in agriculture, farming, grain, soy trading, or soybean products preferred, but not required
