About the role
The Live Nation Merchandise Specialist position is a fast-paced role that involves providing exceptional merchandise purchasing experiences for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues. Merchandise Specialists are directly supervised by the venue's Merchandise Manager and are responsible for fulfilling guest orders, creating visually appealing displays, and maintaining accurate inventory.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues
- Fulfill the order of guests in a timely fashion, ensuring they receive the correct items and sizes as requested
- Accurately ring-up guest purchases in Live Nation's sales system
- Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venue
- Support successful sales operations at each event
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations
- Take direction from their supervisor, the venue's Merchandise Manager
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment
- Quick-thinking and able to respond to guest requests
- Guest-oriented, focusing on their requests
- Team-driven, working as part of a larger unit
- Patient and polite when interacting with guests
- Self-starters that do not require significant supervision
- Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to a 50-pound box
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments in potential extreme temperatures
- Must have a working understanding of touch-screen based systems
- Must be of legal working age in the state
