Merchandise Specialist

About the role

Family owned & operated jewelry vendor based outside of Charlotte, NC. Looking for a genuine team player who is motivated to support internal & external partners, set up styles and assist with day to day operations.

Responsibilities

• Style set up across multiple accounts
• Purchase order creation & maintenance
• Sample management
  • Internal – incoming samples from overseas
  • External – approvals and shipments to & from accounts
• Organizing in house samples
• Cross-functional collaboration with overseas and domestic partners to ensure on time and accurate shipping
• Follow through and follow up with multiple business partners daily & weekly

Required Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving: identify where there is an issue and suggest solutions
• Attention to detail
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Ability to work autonomously
• Juggle competing priorities with ease
• Be a team player, with ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to learn new technologies
• Willingness to take on new projects
• Previous corporate retail experience
• Jewelry knowledge and/or experience
• Familiarity with shipping & logistics
