About the role
The Merchandise Processor is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments of products. This role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of products
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all products are in good condition before being stored
- Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding product issues
- Follow up on order status and provide updates to customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
