About the role
The Merchandise Processing Associate plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Savers / Value Village by processing donated items and preparing them for sale.
Responsibilities
- Sort, tag, and organize donated items
- Handle and process returned merchandise
- Prepare items for resale
- Communicate effectively with donors and other team members
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Pass a background check
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
