About the role
The Merchandise Processing Associate plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Savers / Value Village by processing donated items and ensuring they are ready for sale.
Responsibilities
- Sort, tag, and organize donated items
- Handle and process returned merchandise
- Prepare items for resale by pricing, grading, and packaging
- Communicate effectively with donors and other team members
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or related field preferred
