About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate position at Savers / Value Village is part of a mission to champion reuse and support local nonprofit organizations through the resale of gently-used items.

Responsibilities

• Process donations of clothing, accessories, and household goods
• Sort and organize merchandise for sale
• Ensure all items meet quality standards
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback
• Support team members with tasks and questions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Experience in retail or related field preferred

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Customer service orientation
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge of retail operations
