Merchandise Processing Associate

About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate position at Savers / Value Village is designed to create an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Process donations of gently-used clothing, accessories, and household goods
• Sort and organize donated items for resale
• Ensure all items meet quality standards for resale
• Communicate effectively with donors and other team members
• Support the overall mission of the thrift store by promoting sustainability and reuse

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude and customer service orientation

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related field preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer operations
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
