About the role

The Merchandise Processing Associate position at Savers / Value Village is part of a mission to champion reuse and support local nonprofit organizations through the donation and resale of gently-used items.

Responsibilities

• Process donations of clothing, accessories, and household goods
• Sort, clean, and prepare merchandise for sale
• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
• Support team members with tasks and questions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
