The Merchandise Processing Associate position at Savers / Value Village is part of our mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. This role involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members by processing donated items.

Responsibilities

• Process donations received from customers and donors
• Sort, clean, and prepare donated items for resale
• Handle returns and exchanges according to company policy
• Ensure all items meet quality standards for resale
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Support the overall operations of the store

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or related field preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
